What I typically find on construction websites

I've worked with industrial and commercial businesses for years. Construction firms tend to share the same problems:

The site is slow. Large image files from project photos, bloated page builders, cheap hosting. A site that takes 5+ seconds to load on mobile loses visitors before they've read a word. Google notices too.

Nobody's touched the SEO. Pages with no meta titles, no heading structure, no internal linking. The homepage targets "welcome to our website" instead of "commercial construction Brisbane" (or whatever the actual service is). There's no keyword strategy behind any of it.
